Our ambassadors are precious to us

We have thought of a format that gives voice to women who inspire us through their professional careers, their uniqueness, their strength. We ask them about their relationship to success and the jewelry that accompanies them daily, about their sentimental value and what they have been able to celebrate as important stages in their lives. From customers, they have become real Douze ambassadors. Zoom in on these personalities who are dear and precious to us!

We reveal the interview with Chloé Loisillier , 30 years old, who is now General Manager Europe of the Violette FR brand, between New York and Paris. Chloé has always worked in the world of beauty. Before Violette FR, she was at Oh My Cream, where she evolved among five different positions, which allowed her to have a 360 experience of a start-up, in full swing, on the skincare market.

What do you like most about your professional activity?
"The diversity of subjects and decisions that are part of my position today, even if at the beginning of my career, this curiosity could have scared me. Since I have evolved in several different positions , which had no links between them and that my CV was the reflection of these various opportunities, I was indeed afraid that it would work against me. I was also afraid of telling myself that I was not going to develop expertise in a field, that I was not going to specialize and that in the end it was going to be a disaster. So I asked myself a lot of questions: what positions will I be able to apply for outside of Oh My Cream ? In hindsight, I do not regret the choices I made at all, because I simply think that I did not aim high enough , I did not have the ambition that I have today."

What does femininity mean to you?

"So, at Violette FR, we have a little motto which is " Be the muse and the artist ". Indeed, there is no real definition, everyone sees their femininity in a completely different way. If I had to cite a term that evokes femininity for me, I think it would be gentleness . Not to be confused with a lack of strength. Because we often confuse the two and I think that's a mistake. But I would say a fairly gentle energy, while being powerful . I find that women also often have a slightly mystical aspect that we don't necessarily find in men, which I love."

Do you have any idea what the Twelve woman represents?

"Douze jewelry is all about finesse . For me, it is very precious and almost secret jewelry because it remains discreet, it is a bit like a second skin . Very fine jewelry that embellishes the body of the women and men who wear it. And I think that is the strength of your jewelry! It is this very fine side while being well constructed in terms of proportion that means that the jewelry is not forgotten either, but that it is not omnipresent. So I think that the Douze woman is this version of femininity: both soft and very fine ."

What are the perfect occasions for you to treat yourself to a piece of jewelry?

"Personally, I like the idea of buying myself jewelry, which doesn't necessarily correspond to a particular occasion. But I think that if there were an occasion, it would be when we experience a happy moment , a birthday for example. A piece of jewelry is a vector of emotions , that we wear daily, that we have with us all the time, a reminder of a happy moment. When one of my professional projects, for example, comes to fruition, I like the idea of congratulating myself by offering myself a gift."

Tell us a memorable anecdote you had with a piece of jewelry?

"I have a ring that I love, which was my grandmother's solitaire , which I had transformed into an everyday ring, which looks like half an eye . I have a lot of admiration for this avant-garde woman , who completely freed herself from the rules of her time. She flew planes, lived abroad, was divorced... It is to pay tribute to her that I wanted to transform this ring, with the symbol of an eye, because I have the feeling that she is always with me, I know that she is looking at me and that she laughs a lot from where she is."

What are your 5 favorite pieces at Douze?

"At Douze, I love the Lorène Vague wedding ring ! Indeed, I like the roundness and the closed settings that envelop the diamonds. I also really like the curves and the fluidity of the metals. So I'm a big fan of the Vague rings , the Alba for an all-gold look and the Iris , for a dressy evening. My favorite necklace is the Lorène sautoir , which is also adorned with multiple closed-set diamonds, which I find magnificent worn in pairs. You feel precious and powerful with it! "
